FoNSE 20th Anniversary and Annual Conference 2026

The Food and Nutrition Society of Ethiopia (FoNSE) is pleased to announce its 20th Anniversary and Annual Conference 2026, to be held in Addis Ababa from 19–20 June 2026.

Conference Theme: “Strengthening System Capacities to Advance High-Impact Food and Nutrition Outcomes in Ethiopia”.

The conference will convene policymakers, researchers, development partners, practitioners, and private sector actors to exchange knowledge, share evidence, and strengthen collaboration toward improved food and nutrition outcomes in Ethiopia. The conference will feature plenary sessions by distinguished speakers, panel discussions with key stakeholders aligned to the conference theme, and its objectives.

Objectives of the Conference

●      To bring together researchers, scientists, government policy makers, academics and others together

●      To share and exchange research findings and programmatic updates, ideas, new and emerging sciences

●      To equip emerging nutrition professionals and nutrition leaders with various food and nutrition skills and competencies.

●      To create a platform that will facilitate networking among members with other resource persons and institutes.

●      To conduct the annual general assembly, provide update and share plans to members and get their endorsement.
